Swapped out my grille to finally become a true bro, while recovering from some kind of bug.

Color matching the lettering was a fun little project. Only regret is there are cutouts for raptor lights still in the mold. Otherwise, I dig it.

I'm working on putting everything back together here. I originally planned on repainting the bumper, and cleaning up the fair lead, but I can't stand driving around in this thing anymore with no weight in it. It doesn't take that long to take off the bumper, so that might end up being a spring project.

I did take a mini sledge to the light bar brackets and managed to get the light bar almost flush to the bumper now.

Proper use of a sledge is highly underrated!

Those cutouts are invitations to take on a level of coolness unable to be measured by any modern devices.
Comes with a secret handshake and immense responsibility.

When I met with @Thatbassguy he complimented my raptors......couldn't stop talking about them, actually.

    Maybe the latter didn't happen

    Truth!

When pounding ground rods, we typically use an SDS max rotary hammer. Sometimes you'll hit a hard spot, or a rock, and you'll think you're fucked. Usually, a few good whacks with a sledge will get it moving again. Unless you're in Grafton. Then, you're just fucked.

I'm indifferent about Raptor lights. I think they look nice. And, I can appreciate the irony of putting wide vehicle lights on a mini truck. But, kinda like the heritage grilles, and the PRO wheels on the 4Runner forum; once something becomes common, it loses its appeal to me. I was even looking heavily at Radflo suspension awhile back, partly because I don't see it very often. :anonymous:

Just thought I’d toss this out here in case I missed it earlier.

Even with a bag over its head, it's still ugly.

I'm guessing it's that atrocity that Tesla is calling a truck. Either that, or a lifted Lamborghini kit car. :notsure:

I certainly would if they’d allow it!

Actually I’ve seen a few vehicles I’d love to bring back in addition to the Hulu.
    Hi ace 4x4.

There was a nice Mercedes G
    Even an off road Mitsubishi

    Bullshit!

    :duh:

ETA: I suppose roads are not cornfields, so you are correct on a minor technicality.
