I'd use EB1 (6 pin connector in the engine room fuse box) Pin 3 (Light Green), it's powered by the IG1 No2 fuse.

Neat 1 piece bulkhead fittings for the transmission cooler in the bed. Can get everything plumbed and sealed up now. I recently got back from a trip and have spent every night at the shop working and the house is a disaster and I’m exhausted. Might take some time to rest tonight.

Plumbs and ran through the bulkheads. Still need to wire up the fan circuit.

also got the power steering cooler mounted up on the condenser. Pulled the skid plate off and figured out where the accusump is going to mount to. I don’t really want to add hardware to the skid plate and make it look like garbage, so I might get the little brackets welded to it instead.

This shit is such a mess but the trans cooler is completely done. Wired and plumbed. Just need to prefill it when I get the new torque converter installed.

The transmission fan is going to be run off of the inline fluid thermostat. I’m going to give it power from the Holley fan 1 relay, and set that fan to be constantly on when the ignition is on. Or maybe just run an ignition on relay for it.

the front spal fan that will give airflow to the oil cooler, power steering cooler, and condenser will run whenever the ignition is on. I’m really happy with the progress made in the last few days. I’m going to try and get the rad mounted tonight. I’ll continue to work on wiring tomorrow. Maybe I’ll get the Baja designs stuff rewired up too. The battery is super dead so I’ll need to bring a charger.

I mentioned it before but 454 is going to remake my coolant lines and add bulkheads for them too.

I am glad you said that about the bulkhead fittings for the coolant lines too.

Just think of how well the weight distribution is going to be now. :D

Need to loom this shit show. But all the wiring in the truck is complete minus the ac compressor wiring.

Transmission cooler fans are wired up through an ignition wire, then to the the electric thermostat, then to the relay to trigger the fans on.

Radiator fans are triggered individually by a ground trigger from the Holley and two relays.

Front spal fan for the condenser, oil cooler, and power steering cooler is setup on a relay with an ignition on trigger.

Accusump is wired up with an ignition on trigger to pre-oil the engine before starting and continue to protect the engine while running.

all the Baja designs lights are connected up to the switch pros, each one on its on connector. Front bumper has one 4 pin connector to disconnect everything simultaneously when the bumper comes off.

I spent 10 hours soldering yesterday

Had some 24” AN10 lines made to connect to the oil pan before I drop the engine in since they’re hard to access.
    IMG_7617.jpg

    New plate.

Also got a new MAP sensor, fuel rails, and new 102mm throttle body for the big intake.

Got on 454’s schedule as well for mid December. Circle D converter is on the way.

JD fab agreed to lengthen my aftermarket tie rods for me since they’re just a tad short. Stand up dudes.

Circle D converter gets here Monday.
Just got an update from the engine builder, all of the machining is done, only thing left is to balance the stroker crankshaft and final assembly.

Yeah he’s lightning fast. I’m paying a bit of a premium to have him build it, super well known guy around here, but I think it’s worth it. It’s not that much of a premium but my motor is now almost done and it’s only been a month.

Circle D 2600-2800 stall converter with a billet front cover just arrived. Has anti ballooning plate in it too just in case my transmission caused my issue last time. Only thing I didn’t get from them is a new flex plate. I didn’t really see a reason to get a billet flex plate.

Really ran out of bed space, but I have everything I want when I’m off-road. Jack, extra fuel, tires, coolers, everything fits so that’s good.

Breather lines terminated. Wiring is all zipped and neat-ed up. Maybe I’ll throw some Tesa tape on it, not sure. I need to get some heat sleeve to throw on the wiring going down over the transmission. On my way to my buddies place to get the accusump brackets welded to the skid plate. If I can convince myself to come back tonight, i can get everything done minus putting the engine in.

Curious what your engine builder is recommending for engine break in. Please post when you get the info

I’ll let you know once I find out, but I doubt the first oil will be in for very long. Maybe just first startup, drain, put in the same break In oil, leave for 100 miles, drain, then 5w40 probably. Every component is new in then engine so.

Fast intake all assembled minus the throttle body which gets here tomorrow. Gonna cap the driver side rail on the front and just run one feed line. I don’t see an issue with this.

pulled my tie rods off the truck today, sending them back to JD for them to lengthen for me. Each one needs to be an inch and a quarter longer. IMG_7690.jpg
