If anyone is looking for more lights on their bikes, check this out. Even if you don't want to watch the video, the first comment he pinned has a discount code good through the end of the month.

Definitely not but it would be small enough to have in the bedroom for some kinky fun role play.......or at least I read something like that......

I haven't even watched the video but I have been running auxiliary lighting since my first FJR bought in 2012. One of the single best mods I've ever made to any bike. Long distance riders talk a lot about having a "triangle of conspicuity" by having 2 smaller lights usually mounted down sort of low like on a front fender bolt and how it forms a triangle of 3 lights from your main headlight(s) to the 2 below and that's not something normally seen on vehicles. This tends to draw the eye of other drivers which then forces them to be aware of you. I will personally tell you that it works. I have had countless people glance my way and stop pulling out since installing the lights.

He actually uses that exact phrase. LOL

Visibility to others would be my main reason to get any extra lights, though I don't know if I'd go with these or something else. I've not done any research.

I did watch about half the video and might go back to it when I have time later in the day. Aux lighting really is a win-win scenario. As I've already stated I have seen it first hand where other drivers who were preparing to pull out in front of me did a double take and waited and I know it was the extra lighting that caught their eyes. It's also been a tremendous help for driving at night with throwing more light down the road. Initially I just had 2 extra lights on the front, mounted to the front fender bolts as stated. I angle the right side light just slightly to the right instead of straight forward like the left light. This slight angle gives me more visibility of the road shoulder and the "no man's land" space where a lot of wildlife may coming running out. I can't tell you how often this has saved my ass. Later I added a second set of aux lights mounted under my mirrors, larger driving lights with the intent of just giving me greater night time light to work with.

In June when my friend Hugh and I did an Iron Butt ride to Michigan we left out around 11:00 at night and rode the first almost 8 hours in the dark. I led most of the time because I have all that extra lighting. He was amazed at just how much light I was putting on the road whenever the opportunity of no oncoming traffic was there. I even showed him the difference with turning off the upper lights and just running the lower pair. After we go home he told his wife a pair of aux lights were his next big purchase for his FJR.

Oh I believe it. I don't night ride for now, but more light is a must if I do.

Doing long distance rallies sometimes night riding is your best opportunity to make time. Within posted speed limits of course......:anonymous:

Nothing like riding in the rain in the backwoods of Kentucky at 2am just to get a picture of a sign hanging over a general store......

its pretty nice tbh to have more lights i dont have anything like chuck but i have a little light bar on my bike below my headlight. it helps out so much and since i use to mainly ride at night (since thats when i worked) it made it a lot safer since not only did that little bar shoot out further then my headlight it also went wider so i had a wide area of view.
