Never heard of it. I'll have to check it out when my T100 tank inevitably becomes permeable again.

Here's another look at my catch can fluid, just emptied it again

    IMG_20231118_152745.jpg
I'll let it settle a bit and take another look

Used the empty 50oz water bottle that was full of water in the back of my truck. Pretty sure the dog stepped on the lid just right and opened it so all that water just sat in the back of the cab causing the leather gloves to get all moldy instead of the drip channel seal I was looking for.
I am still glad I was finally able to find that though. It said it's used but it looks pretty freaking new to me

Ya, It looks like it'll only be the tops of the hoops.

Wasn't what I was hoping but there were a combination of things that got me to lay it out that way.

I wanted the most compact hoops I could do, to cut down on the leverage from the shock. The hoops can't go down more because of the bump cans. And the lower mounts are mounted at a pretty steep angle on the axle so they don't cause hangups. The lower mount bolt is just above center on the axle.

Cutting the bed (and boxes) is more work, but it's going to be better in the long run.

With the body lift, I'm measuring only the top 2 inches or so of the hoops will go in the bed. The upper shock bolt should still be accessible from the wheel well.

Any reason for not going behind the axle? Just thinking you could lower the mounts some.

Really, it just boils down to the picture I had in my head. And the picture had the shocks in front of the axle. With the traction bar, I don't have to worry about trying to combat any axle wrap. So the shocks in front of the axle don't have any downside I can't fix.

12 inch shocks would have helped (shorter)
2.0 shocks would have helped too (shorter)
Tilting the shocks could have helped (but I wanted them nearly vertical, to maximize dampening)

At the end of the day, a compromise of cutting in to the bed a little is worth it. This bitch should boogy now.
