Lift the lid, look down and it's attached with super-sticky hook-and-loop tape. Cable runs under back seat and out the slider rear window and up to the roof rack. I've planned (For two years) to vent the side of that box to make it easier to hear with the lid closed.

I'm actually using their handheld MTX 1050. That way I can lend one to someone else when out on rides.

 

I called a local dealer about a Grand Highlander that’s in transit to them. They suggested (pushed) I put a 1K refundable deposit on it to make sure I can see, test drive and buy it if my wife likes it. If we don’t like it we get our money back…
