We’ve had just as many switch from theirs to ours. Some are vocal on forums and social media and some are not.
Out tune is solid and our customer service is second to none.
Feel free to choose whichever tune you would like. Any tune is better than stock.

 

No matter who says what, each vehicle will react to a "canned" tune a little different, variances in sensors, etc. Couple that with individual driving habits, expectations, etc...

My current diesel, I've gone through a bunch of tunes, and they're all highly rated recommended.

Best answer is a dyno tune(all my bikes are dyno tuned, but, not remotely stock either). Or at least an individual custom tune.

I switched from OTT. Not bashing their tune. Was satisfied the year I ran it. This tune (KDMax) works better for ME.
I HATE automatics. But, if I have to drive it, it better have a consistent, and positive shift, and not force the engine to lug.

I'm one. Been messing with different tunes.. for years. Since it was OVTune.
This is the right tune for my truck, and me.

Does anybody know if the truck can be programmed in a way, when you switch to sport it stats in the gear you’re currently in, rather than always going to fourth gear first?

 

Not at the present. We asked about it a few years ago and OVtune/Mat looked into it but was unable to add that setting to the software. Sorry.

 

It seems so simple. This coming from someone who can barely flash his own truck

805 Tacoma Tuning hooked up with Jakeand his 2019 Tacoma this afternoon. He had that thing all tricked out for the Holiday’s. No Grinch to be found here! We loved the interior Christmas lights!

Jake came to us looking to improve the performance of his vehicle after running a competitors tune for the last couple of years, which left him feeling underwhelmed.

805 Tacoma Tuning enjoyed an early morning commute to Goleta in order to set Eric and his 2019 2.7L 4 cylinder Tacoma up with a KDMAX Pro tune.

Later on in the day he called us back raving about the drivability improvements he was experiencing.

“ Even on my 1st drive today, I was able to achieve better gas mileage than ever before in both directions. Overall performance is greatly improved. The truck maintains RPMs waaaay better going up grades, and there is no longer any erratic shifting taking place!” – Eric

Justin came by late last night with a customers 2023 build he is working on. Wanted to finish the build off with the Pro-10.0 with Sport+ throttle setting. We made a custom tune specific for this build. You knocked it out of the park with this amazing build Justin. This truck build is sick. You have to see it in person! The Pro-10.0 tune is going to top this amazing build off nicely!

Randall knows a thing or two about vehicles, offloading and being a really good guy overall. So when he reached out, we immediately hit it off and set the plan in motion.

After some further discussion, we decided to set him up with our Normal throttle option.

After his test drive, we talked in great detail about his initial impressions. We hit the nail on the head!

Randall knows we will be here to support his future build plans for this awesome truck. Re-gear, AGM battery upgrades are already being considered, and we have the files to support them.
