My anytime front camera kit arrived today from Runnin 4 Tacos, guess it time to install it

 

Keep us posted on this. I'm looking at the same one. Curious on 1. is it a PITA to install and 2. is it worth said PITA from #1.

 

Wash and “wax” with Rejex. Never heard of this stuff before but it’s legit!

 

Been there, (almost) done that as well. Took a couple of steps back and decided that having swapped out all of the other lights to LEDs - that weren’t already LEDs - that bit wasn’t worth it. Who, besides me, would even know, besides a few other Taco owners? Took a beat and decided, there are more important things. Plus I’d be upset if I (or anyone else) did some damage.

I wouldn’t consider that a failure in the least. Smart move in my humble opinion.

 

That's a damn brilliant shine! For about 3 seconds I was thinking "that's a weird place to put a cubby on a truck. And I wonder what those blue bottles and green case is for?"

 

I watched a couple of videos on the installation, doesn't look too complicated

 

I’m pretty sure that’s not the case.

Straight up 5 o’clock!

 

I can think of better ways to reduce our premiums

 

Spent the last few days doing a few things.
Diode Dynamics SS3 fog lights with back lighting.
OEM bed lights.
Relocated the media port and added wireless CarPlay dongle.
Added a dual USB port. Decided to leave the original media port in the dash in case I need to go back.

 

Nice work! FWIW the BT dongle doesn't have to be exposed. Ours is sitting on top of the stereo behind the dash. Work perfectly . Just sayin'.

 

Where did you order it from? I was going to have a local vinyl installer do the same thing, but if there is someone out there offer a pre-cut matte black version, I’ll give it a shot myself.

 

No I opted for a smooth rear bumper…………..I mean I’m sure I could weld swing out brackets to this giant chunk of metal at some point

 

Oh, and I removed the front spoiler from my sport...

 

I’m sure there’s plenty of room.

 

And in California it’s not just visible. I had mine in my front window and got a ticket for not having it mounted properly on the front of the vehicle!
