Cheers! I just stirred up a white Russian. It's sure to be the first of several.

    So. Many. Stickers.
As mentioned earlier the only mods my trucks have are stuff that was won in contest, bought severely used or scratch and dent or big sale etc. And it's been a long time since I've done anything other than maintenance.

The problem right now is not only our interest rate silly high, but housing prices are also silly high. If it was one of the other I would get it and understand and manage. But because of silly high prices and silly high interest rates, I can't afford a house. So I pay silly high rent... Yet I don't qualify for a loan that would have my monthly payment be equivalent to my rent payment. o_O

It's an awful time to try to buy a house. I'm not even going to think about it for a few years.

Fortunately, my rent is reasonable, and I have plenty of room for activities.

I'd love to snag a hurricane damaged house on Pine Island right now, but my rock and roll lifestyle has taken its toll on my bank account.

Regarding the conversation earlier; a setback like that would force me to sell the 4Runner. It's probably time for me to stop living like a 25 year old.

I can say from personal experience, racing isn't a recommended financial strategy. It can be a whole lotta fun, though. Marrying the wrong person is also ill-advised!

The good news is that you can recover and make yourself broke again with other pastimes! :anonymous:

I may grow old, but certainly not up. Much to my wife’s chagrin!

Dan I have some very good news for you...with the power of Black Friday sales plus the "wisdom" of the WI TW gang, we can help fix your extra funds problem! Group project!

Went looking for the latest photos of your truck and found a couple in the Fall Color Run event, attached below for the hive mind to run wild. I'm thinking maybe a high clearance bumper to help your long boy from draggin' ass, or maybe some ditch lights. How about your stereo - still running stock head unit and speakers? Audio to me is money well spent, you listen to it every day might as well make it sound real good.

Disclaimer: I am not an accountant, my financial advice is fraught with peril and awesomeness.

:101010: for stereo upgrades. Maybe some sound deadening for behind the pannels too

Good news! The most Gucci sound treatment product on earth, Resonix, is having a 20% off site wide with code "BlackFriday". They never have sales. I've had that on my list for 3 years and this might be the one. Rear seat delete pretty much necessitates some of this.

Oh yeah, VLEDs is having a site wide 30% off sale starting the 20th if anyone wants footwell or interior lights. Diode Dynamics and likely Hot Shot also starting on the 20th. So many sales this year. It's glorious.

So what your saying is,, marry the right person spend money, have a pastime and spend money and you'll always "feel" rich.
After a day of trails I know that there's going to be hot meal and a drink waiting for me.,,,,,can't put a dollar value on that.

Never stop enjoying do what you like.
I'm about to participate in another year of deer hunting, with 4 wires taped to my chest and monitor in my pocket.

Relaxing while taking a kid fishing.
    Hard to beat that:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:
