    I think the best thing to do is not worry about it. Getting angry only reinforces the stereotypes about combat veterans. It also gets under your skin and adds stress that we don’t need. I’m not saying to not vent about it with a bunch of guys (or women) who know what it’s like. It’s just that I always try to eventually laugh about shit like this. You have nothing to prove if you’ve been there, and you’re not going to change anyone’s mind unless they wanted it changed in the first place. I wish I had more and better pictures to share.
