Taking a break from work. Wow...

To my eyes, it looked shallow well before staging.

This site crops embedded pics but it’s a PITA to save and post the full pics .. I'll take the pain for those that are particularly iconic IMHO

I wonder if FTS testing was part of the profile? Would make sense after the delay in OFT-1. Well, so much for that theory...

I'm gonna guess you were on YouTube....

SpX is now using X to livestream. They're also steaming to YT but I saw today they put a 10 minute lag on YT so I ended up using AirPlay to have the SpX cast to my TV. No way was I gonna watch it on a tiny phone screen.

From Spx - they believe the FTS was activated on the second stage soon after staging....The broadcast has ended.

Too many images on the page for it to load. Could we spread them out a little or delete a few.

Page crashes several times before finally loading and allowing me in. Just this page on the site(random experiment). Cool images, thanks. I’m stoked about engine performance, way beyond expectations though I guess we’ll have to wait to see if running meant running at designated throttle. Also why the late stage anomaly. The PR overflight must have been a sight to see in person.

Scott Manley has a nice after action report with slow mo and syncing of the video with telemetry. Lox consumption increased about the time we started seeing the plume just prior to second stage termination. On the booster he theorizes fuel flow issues caused by sloshing and cavitation as the booster decelerated at separation and flip. Seems reasonable.
