Those are my favorite for bait fishing, and also for wacky rigged worms.

@Pixeltim it looks like you're having a grand time on your trip! Can someone with shellfish allergies survive over there, or does natural selection just get rid of them? With my weird food allergies traveling outside of the country gets interesting.

Oh, I got recall replacement sticker yesterday and it came with these weird recall doodads.

I like how they put those interesting pieces of aluminum/ steel to help protect your sticker in its foam case.

This. My old 90's Rotel (big ole thing with LOTS of power!) needs new Potentiometers... they want as much to fix it as a new one, so nope! I use headphones now anyway.

YES! It’s looking fantastic so far. Cant wait to see it complete!
How much are dentures? For that much mod money, I really should plan ahead lol

I really like the @pearing approach to mods. Making your own stuff can be cheaper, or at least keeps you busy enough to miss all these flash sales that pop up lol.

Hmmm, wonder how hard it is to make your own LEDs?

Wow, that’s some jurrasic park level fish right there!

Absolutely, in addition to all kinds of shellfish at the local market, they also have a wide variety of fish, eel, octopus, squid, turtle, frog and other unrecognizable sea creatures. They also have chicken, pork and beef in ample abundance. IMG_9420.jpg

Just to be fair to Taiwan… while they still have the traditional markets, a few blocks away they are far more modern and upscale than anything I’ve seen in America in the last decade.

Gotta love Rotel! My first receiver was Rotel. I bought it 35 years ago and it’s still rocking like crazy, in my daughter’s dorm! I have a much newer Rotel driving my amazing B&W 803 speakers that I bought used. Well actually I traded web design for the speakers! They are quite old but still sound great.
(I’m also into quality sound at budget prices)

It has been a big week! A few mistakes to fix Monday, but it will become more fussy getting the storage areas sorted. Lots of wiring and lights to get cut and put together. Then... wood, paint, antirust work underneath (can't afford to powder this beast.)

Rotel and Parasound were the bomb back in the 90's. Lexicon preamp with my big 985 Parasound five channel? Amazing. Still running the NHT speakers I bought back then. Have had to replace some parts/drivers over the years, but the company has been fantastic to work with. Wish Parasound was as good...

At least you can get parts. If something dies on my speakers, I’m out of luck. Spare parts for those were gone long ago. I’m running a Bryston power amp, that came with a transferable 20 year warranty! I’m guessing that with a warranty that long, I’ll never need it. It’s built solid.

Had to get parts due to a dog... Several years a go I left my Lab in the house and the stereo on. Came back to nearly a fire! Dog laid on the remote and turned the mess ALL the way up-I never had... Poor dog was a wreck and so were the speakers.
