@Area51Runner I just saw a gray double cab with a shell and boxes on the roof in the city over from mine turning into a neighborhood. Was that you?

 

I think the idea of hunting makes sense but the practice is skewed. I know a guy that's all about "putting meat in the freezer" but then only shoots trophies. Some years doesn't get anything. "Saw some cows and young bulls but nothing worth shooting". Ok well then the meat in the freezer is a bonus, you just want big horns to brag about my friend. If I was to hunt that's really the only purpose, food. Ironically I fish for sport (Alaska excluded).

 

I'd tend to agree, especially with the typical North Idahoan "hunter". I'd probably eat my catch if I liked fish. Cant stand the taste even tho I love fly fishing.

 

Fresh water fish taste like shit

 

With ya there, I pretty much only like Tuna tho. And not that canned shit

 

I can Halibut, if it's breaded and deep fried.


I would never go to a restaurant and order fish for sure

 

The difference between hunting and fishing is you can put the fish back and he is happy. Deer/elk don't seem to do so well after being dead. I hate cleaning fish, that's why I don't eat them.

I'm unfamiliar with the team. If you remember the Yamamoto brothers, one of them was playing on the Kraken last night against the canucks.

 

Yeah, Yamamoto was in the shootout the other night too. I don't remember his Chiefs days tho.

 

no where near as bright as the Cibies with 100w bulbs are in the 95 taco. but these philips LED 5x7s are fantastic for the mister 2

I love venison. I just had it in a pasta sauce.

Last one I shot was a deprivation tag in a hay field it made a pretty good shepherds pie

 

Shepherds pie is always good. We have an Irish Pub in town that makes it daily, one of my favs. Especially when you're 4-5 IPAs deep.

 

I usual stick to small game, Eurasian doves are one of my favorites It's an invasive species thats easy to clean and small enough that you don't have to worry about a freezer. Fish I only bother with if it'll be cooked within an hour and I only started cooking because my wife loves fish. Otherwise it's also great dog food, does wonders for the fur

Have to say a major perk of actually living in Spokane now is that it's like 10mins to the arena or the ballpark. I go see a lot more games. Before when I was in cheney I got my hockey fix going to eastern home games. Haven't been on the ice in like 7 years tho, don't even know if I know how to skate anymore.
