Got her cleaned up for the trip home for Thanksgiving. There's nothing like having a clean truck for a road trip. Haha. Cheers! :thumbsup:20231119_165706.jpg

Pulled the cap off to replace the weather stripping on it, under the bedrails and plug the gaps at the front of the bed. Easier with use of a tractor!

She's not had this cap on her since ~20min after getting the keys at the dealer. Looks strange.20231119_124906.jpg

Got the tonneau cover and Blizzaks on. They’re forecasting colder weather coming.

Those look great and tough. Is it a one dude installation or do I need to bribe someone to help me? Thanks

Doubt I ever will! Its just good to know that theres a bumper out there that gives you that option.

It is for liability reaons. Because they don't have the means of testing the sensor with the bumper to the same standards Toyota does. I took a chance on it and have not had any issues thus far. The bar actually sits just below the sensor garnish so I don't foresee it being an issue at any point.

Replaced the rear differential fluid, 1st time sitting at a little over 30k. Fluid wasn’t nearly as bad as I was expecting. Truck calls for 2.9l so I put in 3 cans of Toyotas 75-85

I pulled the spare down for more room and to air up. Also sprayed down the cog/chain since it popped breaking free initially, then applied marine grease.

So true, I have tomorrow to get that completed along with everything else the day before.

So how hard is this. I damaged the passenger side and was wondering if I could do a DYI replacement like this. Need any special tools?
Also--where did you get the fender?

Great. Because I can re-install the OEM bumper I’ve got more Taco parts cluttering up the garage. Are those recovery point for real?

So from 1999 until 2002ish I shot video for a Radio station in boston...all the concerts...
I did a few Slipknot shows...it was fun...except for when the phlegm and spit would spew from their masks and spray all over you in the pit...I swear I got it on my camera lens...Got to meet them without masks...very cook guys. Corey was SOOOO laid back..When he started touring with Stoned Sour it was like "This is the guy who has been waiting to express himself in a different manner..."

here is the locobazoooka '99 show I did

and here's a great follow up interview...
