Wisconsin Tacomas and bad financial advice

Well... how about a UTE style flatbed conversion for your Runner? My life is full and all consuming since I took on a flatbed conversion... Thought I would take a day or two off , but NO spent the weekend doing lots of wiring and lights. Monday is upon me and and off we go with more welding and fabrication work...

 

Ehh. I'm enjoying the relaxation. I have a few little projects I can pick at if I get bored.

You bet! Probably late February/March - ish. I'm already planning my kayak adventures, and hoping to get down to the keys for a few days this year.

 

I do really need to put a old fashioned kit together. I'll have to do it next trip!

 

I guarantee they can't make them in AZ like WI.

Alright, guys. I need some opinions. The fender and part of the front door got repainted. The rear door didn't, which might be obvious by the scratches.

Does anyone else see anything weird?

It'll buff out. Seriously. The scratches I had were way worse than that.

 

I've sailed the keys but could you imagine kayaking the keys? That would be epic

 

I'm not worried about the scratches. I wear those with pride. The only time it's getting buffed is if I sell it.

 

I'm planning on taking the kayak if I head down there. Although, I might be a little paranoid after a huge hammerhead ate a Jack Crevalle I was reeling in down there a few years ago.

My Mom's BF was talking about the possibility of taking the boat all the way down there from Pine Island, which would be awesome! But, it depends if he buys a boat like he's looking at (dual outboard).
