I just saw this this morning too! I'm tempted to get an OE exhaust system. I want to get rid of the Borla S and I sold my stock.:violent:

How stupid is this idea? Be honest.

I'm thinking about installing a hinged license plate holder to front/top of my faux TRD skid plate. When driving at highway speeds it should flip back but fall down when going slow or stopped (like when pulled over by the police). I'm going to scope it out when I get out of work but on the surface (without looking at it) it seems like a decent idea for those of us in states that require a front plate but don't want to drill into the bumper.

There is less wind noise after installing them + adding weather stripping between the doors, at least on my truck.

Small QoL change, but I got tired of being blinded by the reflection on sunny days. Ordered it from Tacoma Lifestyle.

Saw others remarking about the plate. My turn:

    "Laughing at the Devil"

To say the number five in Lao or Thai, it is pronounced as "Ha".
Thus, your plate is saying "HaHaHa" to 666 = laughing at the devil! Gotta be brave to do that.

(I think that is a cool plate to run with.)

I did the one on my bride's truck. Accomplished it through the rear window, standing in the bed. Piece of cake!
Dropped the rear portion of the headliner (two clips, just pulled down firmly) from the inside of cab. After that it was all outside.
Reached thru window between headliner and roof. Don't drop your tools or you may have to drop full headliner!
Scrapped knuckles, but that's SOP. Took 15 minutes max.

Co-worker had that one on a 17, install wasn't bad but he had a time getting it to sit right with even spacing under the tail lights. Looks great in person though.

Thanks, I haven't seen many side angle shots of it. Was curious if it ran even with the fender too.

JUST what I wanted to hear! Thanks.

You know the strange thing about this is I just drove around and my radio Sirius XM works just fine. And my phone connected to the system. So I really don't understand what this antenna is all about and why it's needed.

I had the same thoughts. Everything worked as if the antenna was enact and whole. Sirius XM was the biggest surprise to function normally.
But I never attempted FM reception way out in the boonies either.

Does it have to be front mounted, or forward facing? I remember back in the days in California we would use a couple of hair ties and put it on our passenger front facing sun visor. Cops never argued against it..

I did the wheel overlays too; an hour per wheel. And the interior door handles. Then I did my taillights with light smoke film at another hour each, and then my mirror turn signals. Then my headlights with clear film. Yesterday I put PPF in the exterior door cups (promo product so I had to test it). I keep saying I need to either stop buying vinyl or open a shop. Even now that I have some practice, with how long it takes me I'd go out of business in no time.

Maybe it's for the connected services as well as SXM?

It is definitely a connected services thing. If you don't use that service you shouldn't need to replace anything other than making it look nice. I could see a line for FM or SXM, but if you use your phone for your entertainment those are pretty much useless as well! They also may not need the circuit board as the connection to whatever acts as the antenna may still be solid based on what's left of the board.
