AND, as I was driving to work this morning....I always pass the new Tesla plant and about a mile prior to passing by, look what "truck" was out and about test driving I assume...

Little Monday reading for you,

Had a 3rd guy come out for an estimate on the windows in the hot wheels room. While in the room he sees a lot of hot wheels here and there and ask if I’m doing the room in a hot wheels theme. Said yes it’s actually for me. I collect hot wheels. Also going to be doing the windows in the garage under that room so they match. When he went into the garage to measure the windows he sees the display cases I have hanging and says his son loves hot wheels and would love all the cars I have. Few days later he gives me a good quote so I accepted it and tells me he just needs a deposit to buy them. He comes by my house to pick it up and has his son with him. I open the garage door to give him the money and so his son can see the cars. He’s amazed. I tell him this is only about a 1/4 of them. Come down here I have more. Go into the basement, right off the garage and he sees them all over the shelves on the workbench and I don’t even know how many tubs and boxes I have. Kid is literally glowing. Told him he can have any car he wants. Mouth drops and says really? I said sure in fact you can take two. Took him a while looking at all of them before he picked the two he liked. There was one other car he kept picking up and putting back down so I told him to take that one too. You would think I gave that kid a key to the world with look on his face.

 

@williams63 That's 100% awesome right there! Hopefully the dad repays your generosity with getting those windows installed without any issues and the room and proceed!
