Knowing the way I type, probably a typo.

I can personally vouch for tweak’d performance, i had them build me a harness to mate a 1UZfe with auto trans (A340/1) to a 99 S/C prerunner that was previously a 3RZ auto. I think i ordered it in early May of 2022 (pre-inflation) received in late july of 2022 the price was $1980. i would add inflation to that figure for todays economy. Certainly the biggest cost of swap and if i ever do another one would do the same thing, think of all the time it would take to source and buy all new connectors, pins and wire then loom it, build it, wiring diagrams, thats one deep rabbit hole. You need to identify your goals of what you want out of the truck BEFORE you start, off road toy? hunting camping rig? daily driver? pavement princess? (me), drifting rig?. I wanted the truck to look and feel completely stock so my wife or my adult kids could climb in start it and go to the store without issue, no autometer gages hose clamped to steering column or riveted under the dash, no switches that had to be thrown in certain order no nests of wire hanging from dash or ecu stuffed in glove box. The wiring harness from tweak’d performance got this accomplished, ALL my gages work, heat and AC and cruise control, hopefully they are still doing harnesses for swaps, I am very happy with mine.

This used to be a doable swap, but now the bang for the buck is gone!

yeah really was only worth it like 10 years ago. 2jz is now a very expensive platform.

I think doing an LS is more affordable. And pretty darn fun too.

Or just turboing the 5vz is not too bad to do these days with a standalone ecu.
