ahh they get good and bad ratings, going to the bookstore now to pick up a book or two on building an AR, going to build something for deer hunting, 6.8, 7.62 or 300

I have a addaxtactical gas piston upper in 6.8mm spc on a bushmaster lower

 

I'm game for plinking. I jas peees-toul, meestour.

 

the 6.8 fits on any standard m4 lower correct?

that ammo is expensive tho.....

 

just checked and the 6.8 will fit, main reason it was made was to have a larger projectile on the same platform... might buy one pretty soon

and for ammo it will be hunting only ill have the .223 upper for plinking

 

Yeah it fits. My bushmaster lower either says multi cal or 5.56. I don't remember. I got like 500 rounds right now. Ssarmory.com has the best rounds and prices

 

I want to get an AR soo bad! The only problem is that I know nothing about them...

 

Also, a 7.62 x 39 upper will fit on a 5.56 lower. Only need another mag for it. Same with 6.8
