@Gritto , I got the orders and went for the A1C test yesterday. The lady checking me in says, “I can tell you now that your insurance will not pay for this because of the way it’s coded” I said, “How Much is it?” She says, “106.00” I say “I got that kind of cash, let’s get this show on the road” and we got the show on the road. /End of story

Florida's Parker Valby won the 2023 NCAA Women's Cross Country Championship with a crushing win and new course record.

It's hard to fully appreciate what she did if one has never participated in distance running.
She goes out front, every time, and dares anyone to stay with her.
She never looks back.

This is incredibly brave.
If you push too hard, you risk getting lactic and locking up... then everyone blows past you.

So I have an inking about the sport... enough anyway to appreciate what it takes.

Me too, but Track events were less stressful.

Yeah, apart from relays, track is individual.
Cross country is kinda individual, but is also a team sport.
How each member of the team places, counts.
If you fuck up in cross country, your team probably loses.
