See if i have this correct We are talking 2 tractors parked one behind the other .

The tractor behind yours the parking brake was not applied . Did they admit to the mistake?:anonymous::annoyed:

You had reason to enter that cab after the brakes were not applied. When was the truck parked within 30 minutes give or take.

You never gave the brake buttons a glance I could understand after years of driving it becomes a habit.

Not in a few trips . Lesson learned look at things in an operation like where you work. Entering every vehicle

The Truck rolled how much damage? What was the air pressure ?

You know it is good to have friends around the country when your out of town to come bail you out and remove bodies.:thumbsup::thumbsup::amen:

Thanksgiving and Christmas are a series of breakfasts, lunches and dinners, starting Wednesday all the way to Sunday lol. It's actually epic as far as food is concerned.
On actual Thanksgiving day, you could only eat a spoonful of every dish and you will be full before sampling everything available. It's like a Church pot luck for 80 but there's only 15 people lol. Oh, and it's at multiple houses. My daughter, my house and my wife's sister. We just migrate to the next meal at the next destination. I just follow orders and cook what they specifically tell me the specific quantity required.

But then @RustyGreen would’ve heard the tell-tale hole saw beating,,,,, beating slowly under the floor until it drove him crazy.

    Good morning everyone :hattip:

Good luck to any T-Day travelers out there:thumbsup:

Yup. Not applied. Yep I was about to move it to where it's supposed to go in the yard. It was about 10 minutes. He left them off probably so it wouldn't do the 5 minute idle shut down. But it wasn't my truck that rolled. The one behind me did. Even if I had checked it this would have happened. Not much damage. Just 2 dents in the grill where the frame rails tapped.

No flat bed:rofl:, dry van 13'6" clearance. There's not many around here but 1 in Avl. that is 10'2" train trestle. Now that I think about it even when I was over the road I kept an atlas just for restricted routes and low clearances.

Pretty sure it's an OSHA rule. Even if you are sitting and parked and get hit, both parties get to take a whizz quiz.

This is a lesson lets hope you don`t need to learn for many years.

Like you I also would have thought nothing of just replacing .

That might be the reason I have several of most tools but for the one I really need.

You have time find the rule it will help keep your mind busy.

I think it is more insurance then OSHA

Depends on the place of employment. I ran a forklift into a support post and bent it at a 45° angle. My only recourse was I had to cut off and replace the post, no UA had to be done. I like welding a fabrication so it wasn't really punishment at all. They didn't even suspend my forklift certification... o_O

Pretty sure my employer doesn't test for THC anymore anyways.
