Howdy all, have a great Tuesday everyone. Two more days to Turkey (for those in the US or who also indulge).

 

In the mid 80's, when I was in, the Army's max age was 39. I recall reading an article a couple years ago where the Army, at least had, or were going to raise the max age to I believe 44, as they were terribly below recruitment targets.

 

Yeah the Army is always changing the upper limit to help with their recruiting needs. During the Surge when they extended everyone's deployment time to 15 months they raised the limit into the 40's. I'm kind of surprised they have not raised it back up with the problems their having now. Everyone but the Marines are going to miss their recruiting goal this year.

Wife got an expedition max which was always the plan. But losing the 15 puts me back in my ‘07 five lugger. I think I’ll keep it and get me a sports car.

Last day of work for the week and 2/3 of my most difficult students are gone. Tonight I reload .357 ammo for a range day with my Dad. Life is good.
