ya i know... just suuucks haha most all my friends that have houses have a spouse so its 50/50 vs im doing it alone and trying to mod vehicles and still enjoy life haha sometimes not always possible! well minus the paying for the house bit...

im not huge on others living with me so i wouldnt rent it out... im very much someone that likes a space to my self and dealing with others (unless a girlfriend thats fine lol) isnt something i want to do even thou i know it would cut my cost in half... all my buddies are similar thou.. so id rather not have loads of vehicles in a place that cant store them haha

try not to chase the dollar but some days you just have to..

Yup been in a few of rnickeymouse's videos from back in the day.

Unfortunately the snake is still shut down, gotta love people with money paying off people to keep things shut down.

    Ain't this the truth.

I work in escrow, but also have my notary license so I make some extra on the side from that. Bit pricey to get into, but pays itself back in dividends if you have the network. One loan doc signing appt usually takes between 30mins-1hr, and on average I get paid $200/appointment. I get more business because I'm in escrow so I can do any of the local deals, but I know some people who are mobile notaries as their full time job.

Just gotta know your stuff and the laws surrounding it.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
If you look around you and focus on what you see people (family and friends as well) spend their money on, you would be amazed at how you might be able to step in to be that person.

Let’s take my landscape biz for example, which is a perfect side hustle btw. After seeing some of my customers have pest control being laid down with a backpack blower, I easily added that to our services.

The initial investment was about $800. Equipment was paid for in 2 months, now it’s just profit.

Keep a keen eye on what people spend their money on, and jump in there. People are so busy these days, you would be amazed at the services you can provide.

I think I saw a sign for a dog poop service. Can you believe people pay someone to get the dog shit out of their yard (sorry in advance if someone has this service lol) but it’s a real thing!!!

Yeah, it sucks, but there's plenty of other roads in the area that are less YouTube famous and arguably more fun.

Did you watch the cross training enduro vid on the Kove 450? They had a lot of interesting things to say about the suspension.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GZuu6EEoTXw

Also saw today that they announced a Kove 800 this month. 95hp off a ktm 790 based engine and sub 400lbs. Not a bad looking bike, either.

So the $8k Yellow Super Tenere is not an ES and doesn’t have heated grips… is it still worth buying?

I can count on one hand how many times I've used the heated grips on my FJR since buying this one in 2019 and I ride year round. Cruise control is far more important to me than heated grips. With hand guards blocking a lot of the air and decent gloves I don't think you'd miss them. The ES suspension is a nice touch but I wouldn't hold out for it myself. One thing is that down the road, if you keep it long enough and ride it enough, you will need to service that suspension. Currently there are not a lot of shops doing it so far as I know as the FJR is in the same situation with ES suspension. There are several options for aftermarket shocks and fork upgrades for the regular model.

Using myself as an example I found a used Penske rear shock on eBay and snagged it for only $250. Sent it to Penske and had them rebuild it, spring it for my weight, and go over the whole thing for an additional $260 ish. That left me with a fresh rear shock for just a little over $500 that sells new for almost $1100. I just installed Hyperpro front fork springs this year with new bushings and seals and spent less than $200 there.

I have hand guards on my Versys and still used the heated grips daily. I have bad circulation though and my hands are always cold.

Come over into my neck of the woods. I can show you roads that are all within 30 mins of one another that will leave a serious grin on your face.
HWY 197 south of Pensacola looks like a pit bike or go cart track!

Most certainly it’s worth the money. Those extras you’re talking about aren’t deal breakers. You’re after the drivetrain and stance. I feel what you’re saying about heat, on your hands. But that can easily be fixed with aftermarket grips or gloves.
The ES suspension isn’t all that it’s cracked up to be. I have had both. Like I said before, your gonna set the sag and most likely forget about it, until you add a boat load of gear or a person.

We need to meet up bro! If you come my way I will show you the most badass remote camping. We can ditch our big bikes and jump on the dirtbikes! I got one for all sizes!
Seriously, I am open to anyone who wants to join me for an excursion. I got a place for you to crash. Could easily make a week of riding planned.
Would be so cool to get whatever group we can together. Or make a giant loop across the country and back, we can pick up riders as we go.

when the right deal on a 1290r comes up. I am planning an epic ride! I love my 890, but I do miss the big bore vtwin for effortless power and will roll 100 with no effort.
