Wish I could find seat DEjackers. At 6'6" and driving a manual, I get a little hunched. Although it's nice never needing sunglasses as the top of the window does me just fine.

My '23 requires a key as it's manual.

I hear you! I’m only 5’11 but have a sunroof that eats up a ton of headspace. I’ve jacked the front and added a steering wheel extension which makes my seating position much more comfortable, but still leaves a bit to be desired.
Near as I can tell the only way to lower the seating position is having an upholsterer remove foam from the oem seat bottom or a complete after market replacement (which means losing the seat airbag and a much lighter wallet).

There might as well not be a seat behind me, I wish it was the single seat. I'd remove that in a heart beat for some storage, but it's the seat that includes the middle too :(

Is it? I pulled the seat bottom from the back on the drivers side for this very reason, and the larger seat is in the passenger side on my ‘19 sport.
I left the seat back in place to help with road noise and because I didn’t feel like removing it gave me that much extra room. I keep a tote with recovery and emergency winter gear there now.

    Some stuff
Mines not attached to the roof anymore but the unit is whole and behind the backseat. I sealed the roof with waterproof tape inside and out and slapped a piece of vinyl on top of the outside. So far no leaks. We have had some major rainfall since this “mod” happened.

sorry. I read your post over

You don’t need to drop the headliner, just pull it down a little in the back. You’ll have to pull some screws and the hooks. I looked up something for the center lamp replacement to find a good video.
I think the antenna is just a 10mm underneath.

Just got my 3rd Gen Pro a few weeks ago so I'm just getting started, but I finished my new bumper install today. Went with the Body Armor Hiline Series since it was on sale and I really liked the lopro look of it. Really happy how it turned out, now just gotta populate it with some proper lighting :D

I agree ! Yeah husband is basically almost hitting the roof now, but it gives more support for his legs. We also have a manual so it’s an obnoxious , can’t turn the wheel all the way without whacking the knees.
We talked about swapping seat for something lower— maybe later. Otherwise love the truck, have more or less adjusted to the seating

Thank you. I will say it does require some cutting of the stock bumper which can scare some people off. But as a total noob to this type of work I just outlined it the best I could with some painters tape, had a beer to calm the ol nerves, and went slowly with the Dremel and it came out great. They also include a roll of trim which helps cover up any imperfections in the cut, so I'd say anyone that's decently handy could easily knock this out in an afternoon. Its a lot easier if you get the bumper without the "wings", but I really wanted the complete look. Here I was test fitting just the bumper without the wings.
