If you're willing to go non-OEM, i had the Koso Apollo heated grips on my XSR before I sold it. 5 different levels of heating, i found the 2 lowest to be mostly useless, but the rest were all plenty usable and noticeable. Cost about half of those OEM ones linked.

I have the Koso on my Versys! I really like them, but would prefer screen integration if the bike is capable.

Yeah with a bit of research and willingness to do some of your own work heated grips alone (no controller) can be had for under 50 a side, wire em into the stock harness.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!

Its used, so Tax + registration and title, not much in the way of "dealer fees" they can add on because its used (the typical BS prep, freight etc fees they tac on new bikes..... like... guys, this is your business the bike has to be shipped and setup for you to sell it /rant)

That stated, tax = 1k, reg on that will be based on the full dealer price paid which will be 200+/yr and title is another 50 bucks. OTD id bet would be around 11200-11500

So I found out that half the KTM's gas tank is actually battery! Interesting that they mounted the battery up so high.

I just wanted to put a battery tender on it so I could plug in my heated jacket.

Living with somebody won't make it any less expensive. Quite the opposite.

For sure! I found Motorcyclegear.com through you guys, and it was a great way to snag a riding jacket for me and my buddy.

I got the Giant Loop Diablo tank bag. I paid full price aside from the basic 10% discount you can get using their subscriber code from yootoob. Though right now they are selling off some of their grey stuff at some good deals. The Fandango tank bag is exactly like the Diablo, same footprint, but is a bit taller for more space. Anyway, they're selling the grey one with their older logo at a smokin' $149.50 instead of the standard $299. You being a taller guy might like it on your Super Tenere when you get it, but the fandango is just too big for me. If you like their stuff it's worth signing up for the email as you get notified of new stuff and discounts they do. I wish I had wanted a bag months prior because they had amazing deals on them for end of year 2022.

You are correct, but I wouldn't do a flashed bike. I want to run it stock first, and then if I decide I want to flash it later I can. That's a damn good deal for all the add-ons though.

It came up in the photo game thread, but my F800GS is sorta like that. Completely faux tank up top, gas tank under the seat, with the battery basically sitting on top of the airbox in the faux tank. It made SUCH a huge difference going to a li-ion battery that high up.

Nobody was hurt. I just had to divert funds to help get my buddy into a vehicle. He'll pay me back, but it's going to take time.
