    Need help with DC to DC trailer battery charger installation to LiPO4 battery.
    Where to get 12v ignition ON signal to turn on battery charger ?

    The 12v charge line on the 7 pin is switched with key on.

    Renology DC to DC battery charger install recommends getting D+ signal from Alternator starter switch connection.
    The DC to DC charger has an internal switch to turn ON/OFF the charger to avoid starter battery drain.
    This requires running a signal wire all the way back to the battery charger mounted in trailer.
    The trailer charge circuit is ON continuously. Does not turn ON/OFF with ignition switch.
    I would prefer a method to turn OFF/ON the trailer charge circuit at the truck electrical output.

    12v at the trailer plug is not hot when the truck is off

    IG1 No.2 fuse that powers the batt charge relay is keyed on via the AM1 circuit

    Thank you for your great response...
    As I more carefully inspected the fuse box I found Trailer 30A BATT CHG relay missing and JUMPED OUT !
    Will install relay and test as before....Ya never know....
