All, I did a 2" spacer lift in front (i know they suck but it's done). Got the growing noise now.
    • I replaced the needle bearing with ECGS - still noise.
    • I did diff drop - still noise.
    • put into 4wd - still noise.
Noise goes away during sweeping left turn (meaning some weight off front left wheel)
    • thought maybe front left wheel bearing, replaced it - still noise.
I am at a loss. Next step may be remove spacers.
    Any thoughts?

When does it happen, how fast or slow, is it a grind, creak, scrape noise, etc.

It happened after lift. Rotational growling gets louder as speed increases. Almost like noises tire but tires were new when it began. Can feel it in floorboard a bit too

When you do wheel bearings you should do both at the same time. A growling noise is almost always a wheel bearing. Did you lift the front and check them?

Also, have you been offroad recently? Check brake dust shield for small rocks that got stuck in there
How many miles do you have?

Typically, wheel bearing noise goes away when that side is loaded. If you made a sweeping left turn and the noise went away that usually indicates the right side wheel bearing is problematic.

Depending on which of the two bearings in your hub assembly went out (inner or outer), the noise actually goes away when the bearing is loaded, not unloaded. I'd swap your right wheel bearing assembly. And like @fatfurious2 said, you should do them in pairs anyhow. If one is out, the other is highly likely to be about ready to go.

And just an extra note, it was my front left bearing that was super loud, went silent on hard-sweeping right corners.

I would just keep replacing parts until I had a new truck. With my luck the damn noise would probably still be there.

I just did that. Chasing a vibration for 2 years :anonymous:
Turns out the driveshaft needed to be rebalanced

It sounds like wheel bearing. So it’s probably other one. I guess I am old because for the old rebuildable bearings, I remember unloading the bearing makes it quiet haha.
