1st Gen Lunchtable Thread - General Discussion

Well Zane I finished up the Celica. Was a ton of fun but the decals and paint were a challenge. The spray paint was crap no matter what I didn. The decals didn't lay nice because I didn't use a Microsol, and hand painting it while hung over wasn't ideal. Also the rear sits too high but idk how to fix that. There's a spare tire in the back seat that's contacting the glass so I can't get the body any lower. Great challenge and I still love the way it looks. Always good learning experience.

A dude bought some wheels from me for his Tahoe (Toyota wheels) he says that because the hub is bigger all the weight or whatever will sit on the lugs and make them shear off.
That's not true right

 

They have the same bolt pattern but different hub sizes, this is true.

Yea, but they'll still work right? I know you can't put Chevy wheels on a Toyota because of the hub size

Toyota Wheels work just fine on a Chevy. They will just be lug centric not hub centric.

I went cold rolled on these for ya; ignore the imperfections as that's just the dross poking out the backside before it gets knocked off

The red fuzzies are just little bits of lint from wiping it down with a rag
