    Good morning all,

I promise this is not going to be yet another lift kit thread. Before I get to the gist of it, I wanted to thank all the contributors in Tacoma World, you've provided an immense wealth of knowledge and that's really helped.

My end goal is to put a small lift, tires and wheels on my Taco. It's a DD, and 2wd, so it won't see any serious wheeling, but I do trail rides and some light off-roading.

After reading all the threads I could about kits and tires, I have locked in what tire wheel combo I am going to use (Pro Comp Series 41 17*9 -6 wheels and MT BB ATs 265/71/17)

For kits, I've narrowed it down to these two. Both seem to be great budget friendly kits and should be perfect for what I desire. I am just wondering what the significant differences are (besides price)

I'll third this option but if you lean towards Bilstein you can't go wrong with it. I've had Bilstein on 3 different rigs now and the performance/price point is a solid setup.

I've heard OME rides a bit rougher than Bilstein. I'm about to find that out as I am replacing my Bilsteins with an OME kit. I also recently found out that Bilsteins are rebuildable so there's that too. Maybe OME are as well?
