So while driving down my street today, my coil spring snaps...Now I am left to wait for a replacement to show up. Anyone else have such an issue?

Update; After some searching and waiting for Mr. UPS my taco is back on the road. Lee at Raceshock in AZ is a wealth of knowledge (thanks Lee) on coilovers and Sway-a-way suspensions. I ended up getting a new spring from Sway-a-way directly (though not free, they did cut 30% off the price). It finally arrived Friday afternoon and Friday evening I was driving again. The new Sway-a-way coil spring is made by Eilbach and comes with a lifetime warranty.

That really sucks. I have the same coilovers, but mine use Eibachs, so I hope they'll stand up to my abuse.

It's funny how these things all happen during daily driving, and not when you're thrashing it offroad, kind of like how nelson18matt busted his front suspension in a parking lot.

Wow...wasn't expecting that thorough of an explanation...but now I feel enlightened. Thanks!

I always thought that the higher the spring rate, the more heavy duty it would be, but there's always a reason for the manufacturer's parts choice and now I know why.
