Took the Land Cruiser out to FPK for its first bit of action since I bought it in August to see what I have. Overall very pleased with it, never had to use the lockers, mainly I think because she’s a pig and weighs a lot, which helps

Yes, I have 5.29s and a tune from KD Maxx pro, for the gears and 35s. It scoots for what it is.

 

When I was in TN I did the mail-in regearing and went to 4.88s. The assembled 3rd members are easy to swap in. Break-in was easy. Happy to let you try it out!

 

@yellowdogpaddler wanted to get some info from you about how you like the combo. I will send you his number.
I think it would be better for him to talk to someone that has a 3rd gen, instead of a 2nd with a different engine/trans

Alright guys, I got a check engine light, checked it and it’s throwing two codes, p0351 and p1605. P0351 is ignition coil a fault and I’m assuming the second code is a result of that.

the truck is definitely running rough. Looking at the coil, everything seems fine except for a bare wire that looks like a squirrel did some work on. The only thing is it doesn’t look like it’s going to cylinder 1/coil a. Unless coil a is the back left coil when you’re looking at the engine from the front?

any thoughts?

Agreed. I never heard back from the dealer last year about it. I was going to bring it up again when it goes in for the state inspection in two weeks. I guess I will not have to be rude about it now.

And..... McGeorge Toyota, is now Ourisman, Toyota. Guess it happened a few months back.

 

Yeah I noticed Ourisman had bought them out. Guess McGeorge only wants to do RVs. Or is that a different family?
