It is a classic, have to be selective on who I send it to. I’m not sure it’s still shown on TV like it used to be

I always like the original, that’s the thing about history, good, bad and ugly, you can’t change it.:anonymous:
Just listened to the classic Alice’s Restaurant, a 50 year tradition for me. I know I have a lot of damn gall.:D In three part harmony with the circles and arrows.

Yeah, I still don't get this. They make their whole ad campaign about "we will deliver it right to your doorstep on both ends!", and then you find out they do not, in some cases at least. I'm sure they must deliver to some people, otherwise they would have been sued for false advertising by now and would no longer make that claim.

I think the cost for my in-laws, 2 16' PODS, from the general Sacramento, CA to Lexington, KY trip was something between $8K and $10K. And then of course they had to hire a local mover to go get their things in Lexington and move them to London... I believe that was between another $1 - $2K.

The U-Haul truck my wife and I used cost $4200. I rented it in Reno, NV, as the same truck ANYWHERE in CA at that time was $7K+. We only lived just less than 100 miles from Reno, so it was a no brainer.

I had a 1969 FJ40 Land Cruiser back in the late 90's and it was an awesome rock crawler . It had a 4" Rancho lift and running 35" TSL swampers . It also had a built 400sbc but couldn't keep the transfer case from grenading

lol packing it is the easy part.....

wait till she has to carry/move it all.

when youngest girl moved to Cincy we actually hired an outfit to unload & carry it all up the stairs. They unloaded a packed 24' box trailer & ran it up the stairs into each room...... took them 3hrs & cost $350.

BEST MONEY EVER SPENT! why didnt we do it that way any other time before? :-0
