No I had a mustard colored fridge at the time. Avocado would have been tacky

In @MTgirl neighborhood, she'd have someone "urban camping" in it before she could get anything in.

    congrats!

not tee totaling here, but a drink is so rare nowadays that my wife says it dont count.

hear ya on the going to the store & buying things ya dont really need.. but just pick up anyway. hate going to the store, so when it happens, lots of extra "comfort" things end up in there.

grocery's have just went up so much here in our area that its ridiculous.
all the kids are gone, but food went up so much it costs the same!
dont even get me started on the pet food! wife spends about $350 a month on her cats. the dogs only cost about $200 but then the meds for the boogers cost another $150. and thats before she buys a pile of toys for both.

    yeesh!

make ya feel better attempt: if ya buy a house the payment on it will NOT be the expensive part.
taxes, insurance, utilities will end up costing more than the payment on your house.

thats why we say we living the dream!

    Happy Thanksgiving all!
Finishing up the day at work. One more tomorrow and then back to the woods. Sunday is the end of Elk general season here. Nabbed the biggest whitetail buck of my life last week. Not sure if I can post pics here or if thats taboo. Nice 6x5 and has to weigh 200+lbs dressed. Hope all were able to have food on the table and spend time with loved ones today. Thankful every day I work that I am on this side of the patient's door.

I was a good boy, actually we had more people than food. Worked out well, not many leftovers. Downside no turkey sandwiches tomorrow.

Had to drag him to a mound, drive my truck up to the mound and slide him in. Thankfully close enough to road I was able to do that without getting in trouble. No way without quartering him I was gonna get him in the truck by myself. Buddy says "aww you ruined the cape for a mount." $950 for a mount. I'll boil it and do a euro mount myself.
