FSM for Toyota Tacoma 2002 5vz-FE 4WD

Hi, I'm having trouble finding the correct place to try and acquire an FSM for my tacoma for the cheapest price as well as a repair manual. I would like a hard copy of both, if anyone could point me in the right direction that would be great

I have a Toyota Tacoma 2002 3.4L 5vz-fe engine 4WD with a supercharger. Any help appreicated, I know there has to be info on this site about the manuals already but still can't find the right place to purchase one, and I want be sure I'm not buying something cheap that won't actually have the right diagrams I need. Mostly just want to know where everything is in my engine bay as well as simple routine service like belt replacements, torq specs, etc.

Yeah, that but for 2002 toyota tacoma and for cheaper if possible. I think eBay sells them for a lot less, but wanted to see if anyone else could find them for cheaper elsewhere too and how do the Haynes repair manuals compare to that one considering the price difference? How detailed is one vs the other?

 

I have always been disappointed with Haynes manuals, they never have the information I really need. Just better to buy the real shop manual.

Be real careful most are 3 volumes some of the newer ones might be 4 Diagnostics , EWD 2 engine and drivetrain

to raise money Toyota sold the service Manuals to Helm inc who went crazy with prices

Then the inflation did not help.

 

I'm looking for the same thing for my 98, you would think in todays age, somebody would have scanned some of them and it would be all over the internet

 

Yeah I looked around, I only found 2 volumes for the 2002 and wondered if it should be 3, my 2003 has 3. A 3 volume set runs around $300+, if you can get one for less you're at the right place and right time.

 

I bought the shop manuals for my 02 tacoma. Cried till the first time I needed them. Now I tell everybody it was the smartest 210.00 I spent.

 

Quite literally a case of you get what you pay for, the information is invaluable.

 

So is there supposed to be two volumes or 3 (not counting electrical?) My '03 has 3.

 

@rocknbill my set came with 3 manuals. Very good quality also. Well worth it.

 

@Old metals thanks, for those looking . . . . I only see ones with two out there at the moment. I saved, waited and watched for at least 6 months for the FSM for my '03, the moment came and got it new for $158. Don't know how I got so lucky. I think it may **possibly** be a slight defect. The index tabs on the edge are slightly trimmed more than they need to be, some of the outer numbers are slightly trimmed into. No matter, they're still there and it's still usable.

 

Found one on ebay for 155$, pretty sure they are just 2 volumes for 2002. Seems like toyota is super good a getting the copyrighted ones off the internet. I searched all over and couldn't find a complete one.

 

I got the 3 volume 2003 edition from ebay at $190 and it's usually around $300 on Amazon.

Hanes manual Is more like the underwear, not really covering much. You get the full suit with the FSM

I got a 3 vol set for my 2001 last month on Ebay for $162.24 + tax free shipping. The seller was IRVB. The same seller has several auctions for the same books at different prices keep looking thru till you find the lowest one.
