Looks pretty cold out. Whats the temps like in the beach areas? What bed rack are you running? It looks like the perfect height I am looking to get.

The only reason I can drive here is because of the moisture underneath the deeper sand dunes crossing the trail. The truck is doing well staying above it though…

Yeah I love the fact that the RTT sits flush with the roof rack on this bed rack.

I got it from Cali raised a few years back & it’s been pretty solid, Molle panels on both sides.

Most of the mid height racks should keep the RTT at that height. I have mine from Rago Fabrications, Endeavor series with Molle panels. They also have a sliding shelf that mounts under.

I was looking at the Rago. Looking at no more than 10.5" height from bed rail to top of rack. That would be ideal for my setup. Appreciate the info!

Dirty pic is with an RTT. It's kinda hidden by the awning, but it doesn't stick up above roof rack. Clean pic is without the RTT and with a harbor freight rifle case for recovery gear. I bought mine from the "imperfections" pile and finished it with bedliner myself. If you have the time and space, good way to save a few $$ and get a better finish compared to.the powder coat.
