    That's what I'm guessing, too.

Plugs only had 15k miles on them. The plug was most likely an innocent bystander that got taken out by a valve that dropped into the cylinder and got obliterated by the piston.

What I really want to see is why the transmission locked up.

AliExpress even does BF deals  $168 for everything including last week's purchase

I saved around $200 by going straight to the source rather than giving my money to Bezos to ship it over here. Grabbed 2 10L's, a 20L, tank nag, and tool roll. Now all my crap matches  Grabbed the saddlebags for $60 last week.

I know without a doubt there is better stuff, but I'm not living off this thing.....so that'll do pig, that'll do :D

I have a large Tusk that I have no need for. It shouldn't be too expensive to ship. No complaints, I just wanted all matching stuff

Thanks! The Fandango is tempting but I'm not sure if it's big enough for my lunch.

I think I'll focus on getting out of my predicament this year and buy a tank bag next year...

I have the same saddle bags, they look like they might hang on your bike better. Draped over the seat they should rest nicely on the plastics. How is the exhaust on the other side?

I did pick up a tank bag during the black Friday sales, small Kemi Moto that is better quality than I expected it to be. Just need it to be summer.

The diablo is the one I posted with a 32 Oz Nalgene in it before. My connection is awful or I'd post it again. The Fandango is even bigger.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Whatcha wanting for that tank bag my man? And is there any gear you might trade for?

Man, I would have given it away. I threw it on FB for $50 yesterday taking a chance and a guy rode his AT over and grabbed it. I wish I had known you were interested. I didn't really think there would be any worth in it....dude replied within a few minutes and was on his way. Just glad I was actually on the bike yesterday

I ty to look out for you guys on here, I really do. I offer advice, help out for guys wanting to do their first Iron Butt rides, even ride 2 hours away to meet one of you for a cheese steak following an accident. I recently posted a link for a 2013 Yamaha FJR1300 at a good price thinking one of you could benefit from an owner wanting to sell cheap to free up space in his garage. $4000 was a very fair price but did anyone bite? No. Poor guy dropped it to $3500 and I posted that. Once more no one seemed to care. Finally Wednesday he put the price down to $3000 for Black Friday and I said "Screw you guys I'll buy it myself!"

Crappy cell phone pic but I'll take more after I get it home tomorrow. Just under 60k miles, batter installed in March, Michelin Road 6GT tires with 2k miles on them, fresh fork seals and Hyperpro springs, stock seat, Sargent seat, Saddleman seat, and factory printed service manual all included.

I haven't decided just yet.....Bunch of damned enablers here, every one of us....I mean you....

Have to find room in my garage now for a 4th bike and the second bike with bags on top of that. I actually considered buying it today and flipping it come Spring. This bike really doesn't need much beyond some clean up and detailing and it could easily bring $6000-$7000 so doubling my money would certainly be possible. I'm leaning more towards setting this one up as a solo ride Iron Butt bike. If I do get lucky enough now to get into the 2025 IBR having a second FJR gives me a second set of wheels and tires I could then ship to the second checkpoint in advance to allow a tire change during the rally with minimal time disruption.

If that were local, I'd be on it already, but the logistics of trying to get it were too much.

Congrats on the bike! I'm sure you'll get way more use out of it than any of us could. :D
