That guy has been saying for years that he has ordered directly from Toyota, and thinks he can get around dealer markups by doing so. His dealer must have done a snowjob on him that he continues to fall for. Only way around it is either to negotiate it out, which they don’t seem willing to do on premium lines, or go to a different dealer that doesn’t markup in the first place. Despite being schooled many times, he doesn’t understand Toyota’s allocation process.

Damn, only $39,500 for the Off Road? I was expecting it to be several thousand more than that. I'll definitely be happy if it comes in at $39. I hope this is legit.

 

That’s a bare 2wd Off-road not a loaded 4x4. And that’s pure speculation. I doubt it’s going to start at 39 for the 2024. The 2023 2wd Off-road starts at $38,285.

 

Ah, well 4x4 is a must, so looks like this was too good to be true.

 

For 23 stepping up to 4x4 base price is $39,420 for MT and $41,250 AT, 2024 probably bumps that up a bit.

 

Definitely want AT too.
