It's time to eat...and watch the football game on CBS.

I lived in Abilene, TX from Sept 1993 to Apr 1999 and lived amongst Cowboys fans.

You would think living in Delaware I would root for the Commanders/Redskins--well, no. Going with Cowboys.

They are really celebrating John Madden today...no argument from me!

He was awesome with the Raiders...hence, I've been a fan since 1983.

    I'll be at work tomorrow.

Not planning on getting any BF deals.

Got my Total Chaos Bed Stiffeners for Christmas so they will be put on next month.

Within another month after that, I plan on getting a DB Tonneau cover (SE/Rugged Black).

And here I go breaking my plan on not buying anything on BF.

Bought Garmin Dashcam + Mini Cable + Power Adapter from Dongar website for $133.97 with free shipping.

Just added stuff to Amazon cart:

Digital Circuit Breaker Finder with Digital Receiver + Replacement Parts for iRobot Roomba.

    Aye-ya-yai...Caramba!

    Good morning Ed,

Not actually answering your question but I’ve got em but sometimes regret not getting 285/75/16s… mine also wore really odd for having them on for 20k. I think that’s from user error and not the tire themself.

I watched the video with Kai explaining his findings...

The thought process I have (since I only drive on the street) is mostly aesthetics...so my choice would be wider tires.

My Bushwacker fendys stick out (a little bit) and I would want a tire that pokes out at least to the edge or an inch over.

That would give an overall beefier look...which is what I want.

But...wheels/tires and upgrades to make them fit is a future endeavor.

Right, I watched that video too and I think it boils down to “it depends” which tire is best. We’d need to see each tire with the same tests to know for sure.

You could always buy wheels with a larger (-) offset for poke with skinny tires.

all i can say is it really boils down to personal preference, as i’ve done way more research than i care to admit before i bit the bullet and bought my 275/75/17’s, but i can confidently say i love them! even with my weight and stock suspension it only rubs slightly turning in reverse, so it’s completely manageable. the ply and sidewall however, that’s where i believe my mpg’s dropped more.. but i’m still happy!

Good morning Connor, Delaware + Tri-State Area.

I remember the discussion we had earlier this year at Crabby Dicks about your tire selection--you are def happy with your decision!

My OTT Tuner, Allan/Master Yota advised staying as close to OEM weight as possible otherwise MPGs will suffer.

The Sport has a heavier wheel/tire set up than the OR simply because it has a bigger wheel (17s vs 16s).

I believe the total wheel/tire weight of one Sport OEM setup is approximately 62.8 lbs.

    Ref wheel weight :https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/2021-trd-sport-17”-rim-wheel-weight.744017/

Enjoy your Sunday everyone...looks like rain is forecast at noon.

good evening Ed, and the rest of the TW dwellers! today i ran down to the parents to change the oil and finish up my auxbeam install (FINALLY) and also install rock lights to the sides of my prinsu to shine to the sides of the truck. lots of work to get everything done but i’m super stoked on how it turned out! i’ll make a dedicated auxbeam panel install thread i suppose to show my process. i’m lucky to work as an aircraft mechanic with a sheet metal department and they even custom made a bracket for it with actual aircraft hardware (sheet metal and rivets)
