Same here Chris in the valley,but the Mtns we hunt to the west its always 2 weeks late. dont know why. last 2 weeks of November out there year after year.so muzzle here was hot rutting 1st two weeks of Nov. its cranking out there now.

and this is what the woods sound like where i hunt. I could not stop laughing

 

openin day here in murrilin, so my son took his friend with him this am, as i couldnt go, at least his friend has my shotgun to use

Me too. Had a kid in February and only got out about 5 times this year to fish. I’ll chsnge that after January.

Set up the ground blind at the in-laws after helping my father-in-law do a few odds-n-ends.
This was not there last week!!!

Friend of a friend in Pennsylvania shot this today !

 

Evening all, cousin busted a seven today. I passed on a doe first thing waiting for the buck to follow which always did in archery @ 92 yards but not this morning. If she repeats tomorrow she is mine. My Dad hung in there till 1 despite his medical issues. I can see the gate from my one stand, got emotional watching him break camp. Hard watching my Dad slowing down. His desire is stronger than ever, body not cooperating but he is a beastly example of what we all can be...

 

speaking of, what ammo and bullet did you shoot this buck with, Almost looks like a core-lokt, but the separation makes me think no, something else.

 

my oldest son goes to Ohio late season last few years.they have fun and good hunts
