Some of our local small tire shops are selling AT / MUD terrain tire brands that i have never heard of and dirt cheap, probably made in China, no way would I trust them

 

That’s a great deal. Just be careful if you have to air down when off road. Sidewalls may not be up to the task. But other than that I hope you get some decent mileage out of them.

New Shoes! 285/70R17 Toyo AT3 on Method 703s (17x8.5)

 

Put on some extra edge guard i have on hand. Tried putting it halfway up door first, determined full legnth looks better. Need to close the door with a little more oomph now, otherwise i like it.

 

Just finished installing my reverse lights. Literally one of the easiest (and cheapest) upgrades so far.

Black Friday deal arrived early! Diode Dynamics SS3 Pro fog lights with backlighting. Used @FBC Harness Solutions' plug and play harness to hook up the amber backlighting. Made the install easy. Highly recommend FBC, Dave makes some awesome stuff. Hardest part was removing the Rigid bezels.

The only thing I've done to my Tacoma is check the shipping schedule in Veracruz to see if it's ever leaving Mexico.

 

Purchased and mounted underneath a 33 in. spare tire which isn't even flush up top, towards the front end of the tire. As you can see, the front part is sagging lol.

 

As long as it doesn’t hit the rear pumpkin

 

You can use a dead blow to flatten the front horns down slightly and relocate the spare tire hoist rearward. That will allow the tire to rest In the carrier properly. There’s lots of tutorials on the hoist relocation process around here.
Alternatively you can pull the tire rearward as you crank it up. Just be mindful of the proximity to the exhaust on the passenger side
