New England B.S. Thread

I got a rust spot on my frame that's probably the size of a half dollar and I can't tell that if I hit it with a hammer hard enough it'd probably go through. For the most part the frames in good shape and this is the first spot that is giving me concern.

Anyone have a trusted welder that could patch a frame? Never had to do anything like this before so not sure where to start but open to suggestions.

I don't think the previous owner undercoated to often but I am currently fluid filming (hence me catching this). Happy to post a picture tomorrow if that helps.

 

Run your VIN on Toyota's site and see if it got the treatment or inspection before.

 

Pics help but if it's really dark brown almost black in color then it might be a hole at that point

 

My truck took a break this weekend. Really didn’t leave the casa

 

No service history on Toyotas website. I know the owner before did bring it to the dealership every 5k until like 80k miles (Carfax/bought it from the dealer they went to/bought it from).

 

It was fairly bright red/orange. I don't think it's close to going yet but I'm just trying to get ahead of this!

I noticed Toyota and Carven jacked up prices before their "sale"

 

Record spend this year overall for black Friday. We avoided the shenanigans so i haven't a clue how it was out there.

I would have absolutely found a place to park and ride my bike if i was going to. Troll level 500. Anytime I go into Providence I ride my bike. People always asking about closest parking and then i show up and just lock it to a tree right at the front door 99% of the time.

 

Well just jewelry and an ikea item are left for this guy.

 

I did a little poking while Tiff was at work.

Though she said retail at her dealership was mobbed...

Carven catback exhaust before on their Friday the 13th sale was 650 with the 13% off discount. Now it's $1000 with 20% off which is what normal price was about a month ago

TRD dual catback in black was $900 not too long ago. It's now $1450 with a 25% discount it's still way more than normal price was a few weeks ago

 

And lights up top on the roof rack. I'm festive now bitches.

 

Is it already that old? I still have mine sitting with all of my other computer parts.

Edit: I still have my trackball mouse too. Only mouse I ever really liked. I think it's the only thing I've ever given M$ money for as well.

 

MS peripherals have actually always been pretty good, as far back as I can remember and even still. It's weird.
