Excellent!!!! I liked the first pour of this bottle tonight! It’s pricey, but it’s a collectors piece and nice to have on the shelf!

I also saw the Hancocks today at TW - but have passed on it a few times.

And a few bottle kills tonight. Have been trying to make a little room for some bottles to in the cabinets rather than on top…teh collection has started to grow a bit on top and needed to clear a few things.

The Frey Ranch not sure I’d buy again. Just didn’t care for the flavor profile. Not a bad bottle, but just not my type. The SmokeWagon was decent. I have another kind of SW, but I believe it’s the Younger Uncut bottle that I’ve yet to open.

When you accidentally forget your bottle of rye in your Tacoma… And it's 28° out… It ends up perfectly chilled. Yes at this proof you've got to add a little water.

Had a decent haul from the Black Friday event at my local ABC. I was surprised when my number got called so early, about #15-20 out of about 100 or so.

Went with Weller A107 from the allocated table. Will probably be a few weeks before it gets cracked open.

Next was a choice of ECBP-C923, EC Toasted or 1792 Sweet Wheat. Went with the 1792 SW since it’s new to me and I already have those EC’s.

Next was Eagle Rare and Buffalo Trace, limit one of both. Snagged one of each, because it was available of course!

While in checkout line, a guy was saying that blending 50/50 Buffalo Trace and Benchmark Full Proof was a nice combo. So got a bottle of that as well to try. Would definitely recommend trying that blend if you have them.

    Cheers!!!

Both of those are about 90% corn and 10% rye. No wheat. Weller is the wheated stuff.
