as for the 2014 X5 - The standard size sunshade might fit it but, I do have a larger version of the sunshade. You can check and see by just measuring the outside of the windshield keeping an eye on where the dash meets the glass on the inside.

I have had mine for awhile, maybe 4 yrs. Just a little caution if you tint the front windshield to periodically inspect the shade specifically the steel band/edges- over my use the steel has rubbed through the fabric which I didn’t realize at first. Started noticing scratches on the windshield and eventually figured it out. The rubbing on the plastic box when fitting behind the mirror has worn through (the plastic box is scratched up pretty good but hidden by the mirror so dont care about that). I’ll have to remove the tint though and get that redone. I still think this is the best fitted shade and I’ll get another but this time I’ll probably add/sew on another piece of fabric at that location for added padding/cushion. I could do that to the current shade but rather do it from new

I do have the bag, it’s the shade rubbing on the dash during insertion/removal. It rubs/wear through on the bottom outer corners and that plastic box on the windshield (near mirror) for the top inside corners. It’s gotten a decent amount of use (daily for multiple yrs I’d guess). I’ll be ordering another after work, it slipped my mind yesterday
