Hey, so I just purchased a used 2023 Tacoma TRD PRO with 5,000 miles. I just replaced the daily driver I have been using which has no heat, plus it's like a needy child. A '76 Bronco, 8 years of work to it has made it a awesome rig. However, I can't lock it, no way can I drive it a few hundred miles in a day.. So here I am looking for information to upgrade my new ride. I camp and shoot a lot. I am a certified ASE Tech, from Chrysler, Porsche, VW, and Audi. Currently a shop foreman at a Ford Dealership. Build custom Harleys as well. Oh, and I have been a drag racer, which is more of a another day story. Thanks for having me.

Congratulations and welcome. I came from a 2015 Tacoma 4x2, now have a 2023 white pro.
All stock except for tinted windows and tonneau cover.

Congrats on the truck and welcome to the forums. As is, your pro is very capable. The rear locker paired with some bigger rubber will surprise you. My advice, take your truck and do what you like to do. From there you'll see what you/the truck actually needs.

Welcome. I find it funny you are a certified tech on all those brands, work for Ford, and bought a Toyota. I'd be concerned if you worked for Toyota and bought a Ranger.

    WOW...low mileage..
If you're in a place where snow is coming...
Get an undercarriage wash and then when it's dried go get a wool wax/undercoating to protect from the asSAuLT coming from the winter...

What did you pay? I hope you got a few $K under the MSRP...It was a long haul for me to negotiate and obtain my new 2023

When you let 2/3 of your gas engine engineers go to focus on electric vehicles, loosen up your rings to get better mileage... Well let's say I didn't buy a Ford. Started in this industry in '84 and this isn't my first Toyota. I appreciate your welcomes and I will continue to learn more here.
