So just picked up my fourth taco ... turned in a 2020 which had a Toyota brand deflector dealer installed for a 2023 Sport DC4x4 ... deflector was to be part of the deal ... Toyota says no can do as it will interfer with safety sensor equip .... as the 20 and the 23 are identical in all aspects I say thats bullshit ... anyone else experience this issue ... even those in Tech at Taco headquarters couldn't confirm right or wrong ?...... so what can you share folks ?

Like a bug/rock deflector that AVS makes? Maybe the lane departure camera might be slightly blocked but not the radar that sits inside the grille
I have one and no issues

People use "Toyota," "dealership," and "sales manager" entirely too synonymously for my liking.

If a deflector was written into your deal, then hold them to that deflector. And if they refuse to install it, make them throw it in the bed, and make it clear that this was a make-or-break moment for future service visits.

I have one on my 2021, no issues at all. I put it on after buying the truck.

Same here, I have a 21 with an AVS one, not the low-profile one either, and it still hasn’t caused any issues.
