Well… did you or @BkerChuck enter? How did you guys do?

 

We did not enter. FJR is a bit large and top heavy for that sort of event. Small bikes are way better suited. Would be one time a Grom would be ideal.

 

Have to take a break from riding for a couple days. I smashed my head on some damn rod iron on my folks deck.

I was pressure washing it for them and caught a latch with the backside of my head. Damn helmet hurts like fuck to put on.

Oof, sorry to hear. Hopefully you can put a helmet back on soon!

Similarly I crashed my bicycle last year and got a pretty big bump on my head (and a concussion) and couldn't wear a motorcycle helmet for weeks.

 

Ouch! That sucks buddy.

 

Seat looks good on there. A little wider should be more comfy, more support.

 

Did some riding/training with my buddy this weekend. Cut laps, hit single track, etc. Was a great ride.

once I can get my helmet on my head again, I am gonna lite up the 2smoke for some blacks. Lol think I will roll the Highland Park in between AL/Ga. There is some fun trails out there I used to ride every Thursday.

 

My friend Scott who did ride in the event finished 3rd with a time of 2 minutes, 18.65 seconds. The winner with the slowest time was 3 minutes 24.89 seconds and the little girl I have found out is 7 years old was credited with a time of 1 minute 39.92 seconds and 7th place. Only 9 of 15 riders successfully finished the course.

I haven't let a bike sit long enough to encounter this issue yet, but as stated before, I'd probably stick with the 1 year recommendation if mileage req isn't met.

I've been off two wheels since Wednesday, R3 still getting worked on and decided to drop the BMW off for valve service early over the extended weekend. Kinda regretted it because I had nothing to do all day thursday, could have gone for a ride lol. Aching to get back on.

Oh, and happy thanksgiving to all of you! Hope you guys had a great holiday. Did a little camping with some friends over the weekend for my birthday.

Yeah that is just a section we cut laps on for practice haha filming in the good stuff would take all day

 

at least you had the option to ride lol its been below 30 here with either rain or now snow lol

 

Same here, 6" ice/snow mix over the weekend, highs in the upper 20's. There will be no riding today.
