Yes,ive cooked on mine some.my favorite is to sit a pot of beans on it and let them cook with a ham hock or a pot of homemade veggie soup,and bout anything you can fry in a skillet. but its not in the house so unless its snowing or a power outage not alot.

 

I’m liking those cast iron pans

Yeah it’s all over the place, we got about 8”” so far. Just north of us got 12” plus. I actually love it, for now, not so much come January.
