The only dunes I'm aware of are little Saraha state park in Oklahoma. Are those the ones you're thinking of? I went a couple years back

Why? He constantly talked about how much he wanted a built Ford Ranger Pre-runner again.

Nah, he almost traded on one he found, but said the guy wanted money on top and he told him to kick rocks, or something to that tune.

4 years later finally made it back to one of my favorite locations, Big Bend. 4.88s were perfect, but definitely need the HD springs; riding too close to the bump zone...and I have that squat goin on.

I have been fighting with driveline vibrations since I did the tundra axle swap. Essentially any speed over 70 I was feeling uncomfortable with. I knew going in with the one piece that my speed would be limited but didn't think to that extent. I had talked to the driveline team at work to ensure I had everything set up correctly and I had the angles optimized the best I could. Still no luck. I finally considered going back to the two piece route. I thought about going with a custom center bearing setup but upon more research I thought more about the oem options. Since my truck is a manual the propshaft is longer than the auto by an inch which I thought might be perfect since I had to shorten it anyways for the tundra axle. I ended up finding a used oem shaft to test out. The only things I needed to do was drill holes for the center bearing location and use a 1350/1330 u-joint. A quick drive test and it's mint. I'm debating on messing with the axle angle at all since it's so close. I still need to cycle it but based on my previous cycling, I should have enough plunge in and out. Super stoked. This doesn't fit everyone's application but figured I share. Still need to cut the bolts down but here's the new location. I thought I was going to have a difficult time getting the bolt in that's why the bolt is so far forward. I may end up slotting it to center it up.

I wouldn't slot it. More likely to move.

True if they are not torqued correctly ;) but if I hit the drive shaft I think I have something else worse to worry about haha
