What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Washed it, noticed the film on it and washed it again! then took it for a spin.

 

Not today, but finally got around to blackin out the badges. Looks sooooo much better with the black wheels. Next is blacking out the steps and color matchin the grille.

 

Viper 5901 installed.

 

Just bought my Pioneer AVH-P3300BT. Got it plus adapters on Amazon for $200 less than Crutchfield. Can't wait to get it installed.

Where did you order your Tacoma console faceplate from? Also, how did you get it off?

 

I am thinking of debagin' mine...the more I see the pics, the more I am thinkin' of doing it. It will be a lot easier to use my Griots d/a polisher

Blow dryer

 

I used a hair dryer and heated the emblems warm, then I used a 35lbs test line, fishing line, to run behind the emblem, I removed the sticky reminents by rolling my hand over it and balling it up. Wiped the area down with a microfiber cloth ,, Then you stand back and say " Damn that looks clean."

There is a sticky somewhere in this Forum . But it's all done the same way.

Ordered: Kenwood DNX9960, getting some new wheels/tires Monday, Weathertech mats, some others...

hey, my tailgate handle has the camera in it. BUT the mirror is a shitty regular one, ( i swear the prev. owner stole it before they traded it in.... faukers)

I ordered the kenwood dnx9960 i think was the model, has an input for a rview camera... the camera in the handle is wired at least through tailgate, there are wires connected at the bottom.

where would I find the pigtail for the thing inside the cab? how can I get this working on my kenwood?

mine feeds out the headliner right above the rearview mirror. id look to see if he stuffed it in there if he did swap them out.

 

Project from yesterday..

Plasti-dipped the grille surround white ,and finished off the emblems with black plasti dip
