Does anyone have the correct part numbers handy for both sides lower ball joint kits? The kits that come with the new bolts and castle nut?
Also, if the same TW crew is around.... How the heck has everyone been? A couple years ago some had some new toddlers and all that good stuff. Hope the TW fam is doing well... If I had to guess, based off page number quantities of this thread, the TW fam is doing well

Guy got a check engine light, and you've got a boomer going through so many scenarios about what could possibly be wrong

Now he's going on about using stop leak and more

Talk about leading someone down the wrong path

I don't know why he defaulted to that, guy probably just needs to clean his MAF or replace the fuel filter or something stupid easy. Talk about jumping the gun with hardly any reason to do so

He just reminds me of your typical old dude that you get to talking with, and he holds you verbally hostage going back about doing this or that for over 20 years

How others have told him he's wrong or shouldn't have done this or that but he wasn't gonna listen cause he's got decades of experience

And then he always ends up bringing up an old friend that either long passed away or screwed him over on some sort of deal so that's why he doesn't trust people

Can't get a single word in yourself

I know someone like this in another thread...

Also yeah I am betting it's a misfire due to plugs/wires/coils.

Well back in the day you could just check plugs and wires but with all these fancy computers you can't just tell what's wrong and I think it's bullshit because we used to rebuild a whole engine on the side of the road in a weekend and now there's a little idiot light that some yungin at AutoZone has to check and tell me what's wrong and anyways I was at the Mega Lo Mart trying to buy some universal strap for a DIY project and the young man working in the hardware department has never heard of it have you ever heard of such a thing these people don't even know how to do their jobs and yet blah blah blah

I've learned to tune much of that out; he means well but think he's just run out of people that'll listen to him

I am actually in Kansas now, southeast corner, a mile or so from Oklahoma border. It's crazy.... Everything is freaking green and lush out here. Totally different from the high mountain desert. I do miss the arid desert but I love it here. I've got 4 little nephews that think I'm the bee's knees and I love showing them the way 'men' do things, jajaja
Life threw me a couple curveballs I wasn't expecting (like it does to most of us) and I wanted out of the city life.... I'm such a wannabe cowboy lol
But I got my own gig going here working for myself with appliance and home repair.
My old boy Tuck made it to 21 years old (I know! I know! That's freaking old!) and then moved on to the other side.
So I rebooted life out here in the sticks and I absolutely love it so far. :):)
