"Heat shield" fastener thing - near drive shaft

    No issues at all. If the driveshaft comes apart I dont think that dinky little piece of tin is going to do much :D

    Just some stuff...
    Dealing with the same issue also. I’ve been using duct tape lately because when I start my truck I can hear it rattle. Sometimes it gets bent far enough to rub against the drive shaft. Pretty sure I’m going to jb weld that thing to the gas tank. Irritating as all hell! Duct tape doesn’t last very long at all.

    Did you see the real part number for a replacement clip was posted at the end of page 1?

    Cant say for sure as I had to cut mine off on the trail. But it appears to judging by the pic
